What are the requirements for the power adapter/charger?

We don't currently sell power adapters. Please use a compatible power adapter based on the charging parameters for your device as listed below:

X5: 9V 3A, 5V 3A

X4: 9V 2A, 5V 3A

Ace Pro 2/Ace Pro/Ace: 5V 3A

GO 3S/GO 3/GO 2/GO: 5V 2A

Flow 2 Pro/Flow Pro/Flow 2/Flow: 5V 2A

Link 2/Link 2C/Link: 5V 1A

Fast Charge Hub: 12V 3A

X3: 5V 3A

ONE RS/R: 5V 2A

Pro/Pro 2: 12V 5A

Titan: 19V 9A

EVO/Nano S/Sphere: 5V 2A

*Most standard phone chargers (e.g., Apple adapters) are compatible with Insta360 cameras. The charger's output power will adjust to the camera's input requirements. Please ensure it does not exceed the voltage limits listed above.

Can I use a power bank to charge the camera?

Yes. Insta360 cameras also support recording while charging.

Please be aware that using the camera while charging may result in increased power consumption and a rise in the device temperature.

Note: For power bank voltage requirements, enter "Power Adapter/Charger Requirements" 

Can camera shoot while charging?

Yes. All Insta360 cameras support charging while recording. Please note that it may affect the battery's lifespan.

If using the camera in direct sunlight or in a high-temperature environment, the camera's overheating protection may be triggered which will result in the camera shutting down.

My camera won't charge

Sorry about that! Please try the following to troubleshoot:

1. Check that the power adapter/charger meets the voltage required by the camera. Click on "Power Adapter/Charger Requirements" for details.

2. Make sure there is no debris in the charging port and the charging cable is securely attached.

3. Use the included charging cable for charging. Type in "charging cable" to purchase another one if needed.

You can also verify that other electronic devices work with your power adapter/charging cable.

4. For GO series cameras, make sure the sticker on the back of the camera is removed.

If the camera still doesn't charge after following the steps above, we recommend you send your camera and battery to our service center for inspection. Our technicians will assess the issue and provide a repair quote (free of charge if covered under warranty).

To proceed with a repair request, type in "Request a Repair".

How to check the camera battery level?

To check your camera's battery level:

1. On the camera display: Tap the battery icon in the top-right corner to view the battery level.
2. Via the Insta360 app: Connect the camera to the app and tap "Me" "Device Settings."

How Can I charge the flow series gimbal?

To charge the gimbal:

Connect the included charging cable to the "in" port located on the gimbal handle (also supports charging via Type-C to C cable).

Can Flow series gimbals charge my phone?

Yes! Connect a charging cable to the "out" port (non-handle charging port) and plug it into your phone.

Gimbal powered on:

Charges your phone only if the gimbal battery is above 30%. Stops charging when the gimbal's battery drops to 30% or below (this doesn't affect external spotlight usage).

Gimbal turned off:

Press the power button once to enable phone charging. The gimbal will charge your phone until its own battery is fully drained, regardless of remaining capacity.

Note:

You can charge your phone while simultaneously recharging the gimbal via a power bank or other external power source.

How to check the gimbal battery level?

1. Via the LED indicator on the command wheel:

Press the power button to show the current power level.

• 1 light:
• 2 lights: 25%-49%
• 3 lights: 50%-74%
• 4 lights: 75%-100%

2. Via the Insta360 app: Connect the gimbal to the app and the battery level is displayed in the top left of the shooting page.
